featured in my blog!

if you'd like the cleaned up file, just let me know! I think the skull pops a little more and the background is nice and evenly black.

Did you make the skull entirely by hand, or was it premade and you carved/added into it?

This is an actual coyote skull, which was originally inside a coyote's head. So I guess that qualifies it as premade. I did all the carving and adding of stuff to it. Some of the other skulls I've carved (such as the wolf, dire wolf and cougar) are cast resin replicas made by people who specialize in doing that, so they are premade, too; and I clean up the mold marks, do additional detailing, staining, carving, and adding. The Bone Clone, Inc. products,by the way, do not need much cleanup or detailing, and they offer stained versions of a lot of their items.

Just out of curiosity, do you ever sell any of your pieces?

Thank you. That one turned out pretty well.

There are one or two items in my gallery that I currently want to hang onto, and a number that were commissioned, but most of them were done for sale. Many of them have already been sold, at one of the events where I have a dealer's table. I haven't gotten around to marking the unsold pieces (except for a few wands), but they are available.

Ah, yeah I figured that after further exploration. Do you have any sort of a website or some such where you may find some of your articles for sale? I'd love to be able to purchase some/one/a few.
