Here are two wands which I did not make.
The upper wand is of bone, probably turned and then machined with follow-cams, possibly hand-carved. About nine inches long. The central section has five-fold symmetry. It has been sold. The lower wand is of an unknown wood, lathe-turned. About ten and three-quarter inches long. I have modified it since this scan was made, adding an opening at the base which a turned wood plug fits into. The plug holds a quartz crystal that is concealed within the wand. I think these would not look out of place in a Harry Potter film. |
