Artist's Comments

A carved stone pomander pendant, about 1-3/8 inches high. The interior is carved out to a single chamber through the holes in the front, and filled with black silk cord to hold the scent (essential oil or perfume).

How did you fill it? Did you just feed one end into a hole, and keep pushing it in till it was full? Seems like it would get caught on itself that way.

Yes, that's _sort of_ how I fill it, but I have a bent wire tool that I use to keep crowding the cord toward the areas away from where I'm feeding it in, so that it doesn't pile up.

OK. I am prone to wonder about such things. =p
