Thank you. I've done a couple of other pendants with this design (not the exact design, because each is hand done, and I use different materials) and many do some more.
The cast metal pieces are made by forming wax into the shape I want, and then having a lost-wax caster turn it into metal for me. Since I don't have molds made, they are one of a kind pieces like the carvings.
By "lost-wax caster" I mean a person with the machinery and skills needed to cast metal from wax by that method. Equipment used includes a casting machine (there are several types), a crucible for melting metal in, something to melt the metal (generally a special furnace or blowtorch), tongs, casting flask, and other materials and items. There are places that sell these items and places that teach classes in how to use them, but I don't have a list.
